We are still alive Samstag, Jul 18 2009

I know it’s a long time ago we wrote something. But here are the latest news. Marlene develops fantastic. Since February she goes to the day care center. She loves it and the other children like her very much. From the beginning she has have a boyfriend who is 3 months older. However she was often sick and in April it was really serious (pneumonia). Since February she can walk and for a couple weeks she talks more and more.  Her favorite words are „Auto“ , „Ball“ , „Keks“ , „Papa“ and „Papapa“ (means parrot). Next weekend she is going to spend a week with her Oma Gabi and aunt Uschi at the North Sea.

Marlene loves water. She has a lot fun in the bathtub and with swimming in a swimming pool with other kids.

Chocolate and walking Samstag, Jan 24 2009

here is a picture of Marlene’s first chocolate-mouth…so cute

…she begins to walk now. Sidesteps are working pretty well. She walks along a wall or around the table. Even walking at one of Mom’s hand is ok. Today we bought her first shoes – sneakers and rubber-boots. Sometimes she uses her Bobbycar as a walking frame.

In February she is going to the day-care center. And there they go out with the kids every day for playing on the playground. I think she will enjoy it!
